DENTAL CARE FOR KIDS
Children should have regular dental check ups every 6 to 12 months from as early as one year of age. At Vermont South Dental we encourage you to bring your children with you to YOUR dental check ups, They can go for a ride in the chair and start to become familiar with trips to the dentist.
HYGIENE & HEALTHY EATING
A healthy diet & regular cleaning are also 2 ways that you can take control and prevent problems occurring in the future. It's important for kids to eat healthily at mealtimes, discourage snacking all day, drink plenty of water and limit the amount of sugary drinks.
CLEANING YOUR CHILD'S TEETH
By the time your child starts school, they may be starting to clean their own teeth. If so, it’s a good idea for you to either start or finish the cleaning process for them.
Your child will still need your supervision and help until they are at least eight years old. There are a number of brushing Apps to help the kids stay on track and brush for the recommended time.
