Mark has been the practice principal owner at Vermont South Dental since 1997.
Graduating from Melbourne University in 1992, Mark worked in Tamworth and Brisbane before moving back to Melbourne and buying the practice at Vermont South.
Prevention, Endodontics, Restorative, Cosmetic, Cerec and Implant Dentistry are all aspects of care that have emerged and evolved over the years, in which our practice continually evolves with. Notably, Mark has 20+ years’ experience in dentistry and continually attends courses in all aspects of dental care, with a special interest in Implants and Cosmetic dentistry.
Furthermore he believes strongly in educating patients to undertake a good oral health care routine and he passionately believes that preventative dentistry is the cornerstone of good oral and overall health.
Mark, as a caring family man of 3, urges all parents to encourage their children to start caring for their teeth from an early age. Outside of work Mark can be often found over a pan in the kitchen. Either at the kids Soccer or Netball games or building something in the yard. His interests are Soccer, Tennis, & AFL. Completing the Kokoda Trail was one of his most memorable experiences.
DR TRINH DU
Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2001, Trinh has worked in both public and private practice all around Australia, from Darwin, to Coffs Harbour and Tasmania.
Trinh is an experienced, and gentle dentist who enjoys the variety and challenges she sees in general practice, from caring for your routine dental needs to more challenging treatment like root canal treatment, Veneers, Crowns, Bridges and Implants. Her special interests include Children’s dentistry, Occlusal rehabilitation (i.e. helping to bring health and function back to damaged teeth), Preventive and minimal intervention dentistry and Oral Health promotion.
Trinh is a member of the Australian Dental Association, and keeps up to date with new practices and treatments through continuing education. Away from work Trinh enjoys spending time with her young family, being in the great outdoors, rock climbing and travelling when she can find the time.
Trinh is available for appointments on Tuesday’s and Thursday's.
DENISE & CARMEN
Our dental assistants, Denise and Carmen have 40 years combined experience in chairside assisting.
Their dedication and efficiency to the practice provides a relaxed, comfortable experience which our patients greatly appreciate.
At Reception you will be greeted by Julie. We are lucky to have Julie who has been working with us for quite a few number of years. Julie will be your point of contact when making appointments and following up with you, to see how you are feeling after treatment. Julie has a wide knowledge base of the dental industry and will answer any queries you may have.

We see children and adults of all ages, and it's common for parents and children to book their appointments all at the same time.
Convenient hours allows you to boook appointments before or after work. Upon request we are able to provide a medical certificate when required.

If an OPG is required, these are taken at a Radiology Centre not far from Vermont South Dental, sent and downloaded digitally, minimising effects on our environment
This camera helps us educate our patients in treatment and diagnosis. Allowing them to see your mouth just as the dentist does.
Our crec machine is a 3d milling machine which allows tooth restorations to be completed on the same day. Saving you time and money.
Calming Oral Sedation:
We can administer an oral sedative to relax you before performing any dental procedures.
High Powered Telescopic Loupes
These powerful eyeglasses allow us to see your teeth at an increased magnification. This allows us to identify potential issues that might not be visible to the naked eye.
